Did you know a whole cucumber has only ~8 calories? Neither did I. Here’s a simple snack you can easily make when you are craving a midday snack.
What you need:
- sesame seed oil
- soy sauce
- cucumber (I usually only use half of it)
- vegetable peeler
- fork
- small bowl
Steps - these don’t really need pictures, but hey, indulge me.
- Peel your cucumber and slice - the thinner, the better
- Pour sesame seed oil - less is more*
- Pour soy sauce*
- MIX!
- Eat, eat, eat
- Realize you have enough oil and soy sauce to eat the other half of the cucumber
I refuse to go on a diet because I love food and I will never be able to stop eating ice cream and chewy chips ahoy, but healty(er) snacks like this make it easy to avoid junk food. Enjoy!
